Playoff Rules

All coaches are expected to read and adhere to the following rules with no exceptions. Situations where these rules have not been followed will be reviewed by WMBA representatives after the game and may result in game forfeits. The playoff draw will be adjusted accordingly if any forfeits are issued.

Most games will be time-tracked by the WMBA gym supervisor. The time-tracker results will be reviewed after the game by WMBA representatives and will be used to determine if a forfeit is warranted.

v All players must be played as equally as possible in each game.

If a player is injured during the game or cannot play his allotted time for any reason, this must be reported to the scorer’s table and must be noted on the score sheet.

v Only players on the official team roster are allowed to play. Picking up extra players or moving players from other teams is not allowed.

v Sitting players for disciplinary purposes during the playoffs is not allowed.
